You will explore how these structures interact during advanced aesthetic procedures, recognise anatomical variations, understand age-related changes to the face and identify the potential risks associated with treatment. You will also develop the knowledge required to support safe treatment planning, minimise complications and apply evidence-based practice within your professional role.

All theory is delivered through our interactive online learning portal, where you will have access to structured learning materials, knowledge checks and guided activities designed to build your understanding of advanced consultation and skin assessment principles.

Throughout the qualification, you will complete a range of written assignments and portfolio activities designed to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of advanced facial anatomy and physiology. Your assessments will explore the anatomical structures of the face, head and neck, together with their relevance to advanced aesthetic practice, ensuring you can apply your knowledge to support safe, evidence-based treatment planning. Your work will be assessed by an experienced tutor, who will provide constructive feedback and ongoing support throughout your learning journey.

As this is a knowledge-based qualification, there are no practical training days or case study requirements.
