Course Description
Our Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy is the perfect qualification for those wanting to enter a massage therapy career.
This course combines the skills of Full body massage with Indian head massage, Hot stone massage, pre blended aromatherapy oils, whilst also building knowledge of the origins of massage and exploring massage as a complementary and alternative medicine approach.
Students will be guided through practical elements before completing at home case studies and workbook completion, culminating in assessment sessions to demonstrate learning.
This qualification offers a worldwide recognised qualification which can be applied to many industries and work based settings.
We offer this qualification through Focus Awards, an OfQual Regulated Awarding Body. This is a nationally recognised qualification.

The learning option for this course is in-house learning, accompanied by online theory and self study away from class. Classes are held at our Llandudno training facility.
Theory material is delivered online via our training portal with supporting video tutorials demonstrating the practical elements of the course, before learners’ complete in-depth in-house practical sessions.
Following practical sessions, workbook and case studies are undertaken, marked by your tutor with feedback. Upon successful completion of this stage, in house assessment days are arranged to complete the portfolio of evidence for the course.

Who is this course for?
This qualification is for individuals looking to begin a career as a massage therapist or enhance their existing skills in the field. It's suitable for both complete beginners with no prior experience and those with some experience seeking a recognised qualification.

The diploma provides the necessary knowledge and practical skills to perform various massage techniques and prepare for a career in diverse settings, including spas, health clubs, and self-employment.

Learners must be over 18, with good english literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.​
