Have you previously completed an accredited facial therapy qualification and wish to progress to a regulated qualification?
For previous North Wales Nail and Beauty Training students, our conversion course is designed to up skill your existing knowledge and achieve regulated status for your qualification. This course is ideal for those with prior experience who want a more comprehensive, in-depth understanding of facial therapy.
Building on your current knowledge and industry experience, our Level 2 Facials qualification represents the next step in every beauty therapist’s professional journey in skincare. You will have the opportunity to recap and expand your skills as you are guided through essential skincare protocols, detailed theory modules covering anatomy and physiology, skin systems, health and hygiene, client consultation, service requirements, and more.
By the end of the course, students will have a thorough understanding of facial skincare, the professional environment, and the practical skills required to deliver safe, effective, and tailored treatments to meet individual client needs.
This qualification offers a worldwide recognised qualification which can be applied to many industries and work based settings.
We offer this qualification through Focus Awards, an OfQual Regulated Awarding Body. This is a nationally recognised qualification.

The learning option for this course is in-house learning, accompanied by online theory and self study away from class. Classes are held at our Llandudno training facility.
Theory material is delivered online via our training portal with supporting video tutorials demonstrating the practical elements of the course, before learners’ complete in-depth in-house practical sessions.
Following practical sessions, workbook and case studies are undertaken, marked by your tutor with feedback. Upon successful completion of this stage, in house assessment days are arranged to complete the portfolio of evidence for the course.
Who is this course for?
This qualification is for individuals seeking to further their career in beauty therapy or enhance their existing skills, it can also be used as a stepping stone, before continuing onto more advanced treatments.
It's suitable for previous students of North Wales Nail and Beauty Training who wish to convert their accredited Facials qualification to regulated standard.
Learners must be over 16, with good english or welsh literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
