All of our trainers have successfully completed their ‘Preparing to Teach for Lifelong Learning’ (PTLLS) and NVQ Assessors ensuring they are of the highest standard, helping them guide you during you’re learning experience.

We work with leading brands in the industry that feel as passionate as we do about quality & product integrity. We will only use products for training that we are happy to use ourselves.

Our Trainers

Kate Brooks

Kate trained as a Nail Technician through private courses such as the ones we offer, enabling her to fully understand the needs of students.
Having worked as a Nail Technician for several years and now as a salon owner, her passion for the nail industry easily transferred into a teaching role.

Studying to support her industry knowledge Kate achieved both PTLLS and NVQ Assessors Qualifications enabling her to execute training courses with a high level of understanding for the education and learning processes.

As an International Mentor for Young Nails UK covering North, Mid Wales & Cheshire Kate has access the newest products & techniques available within the industry, whilst bringing a globally recognised brand to her students.

Now as a principal tutor for North Wales Nail and Beauty Training, Kate has further opportunity to pass on this knowledge, experience and love for nails to her students.

Tammy Mayall

Tammy Mayall

Tammy began her career in the beauty industry in 1998, working in a variety of different spas and salons in the area. As an NVQ level 3 qualified beauty therapist Tammy gained vital industry experience before branching out in 2013 to Perfect 10.

This hands on practical knowledge and expertise allows her to offer students the benefit of her experience when delivering a wide range of beauty courses.
Supporting this knowledge Tammy gained her PTLLS and NVQ Assessors Qualifications to reinforce her experience with nationally recognised qualifications to ensure her teaching abilities are of the highest standard.

Now as a principal tutor for North Wales Nail and Beauty Training, Tammy has further opportunity to pass on this knowledge, experience and love for all things beauty to her students.

Rhiannon Pritchard

Rhiannon Pritchard

Having worked in Salons and Spas as a Beauty Therapist Rhiannon discovered her passion and love for all things Make Up.

In 2006 Rhiannon gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with the University of Newport, before adding to her teaching qualifications and becoming an NVQ Assessor, she spent over 5 years teaching at Coleg Menai, Bangor delivering their NVQ and Diploma Beauty Courses.

As a fully qualified professional freelance Make-up Artist, Rhiannon has over 17 years’ experience in the industry. Winning prestigious awards including; The Welsh National Wedding Awards, Best Wedding Make-Up Artist, North Wales 2014, all based on bride’s feedback.

Rhiannon is now based at North Wales Nail and Beauty Training providing make-up training in our state of the art Make-up studio for those wishing to become professional make-up artists and masterclasses for anyone with a personal interest in the subject.

This work runs simultaneously with her full schedule of Bridal and Occasion Make-up Clients, giving her an industry advantage, employing cutting edge techniques and skills, using the very best products allowing her to bring this knowledge back to her students.

Melanie Williams

Qualifying as a hairdresser when leaving school, Melanie discovered the beauty industry at the age of 17, continuing to study achieving NVQ levels two & three before progressing into holistic therapy, working for many years in salons and hotels in North Wales & Chester.

In 1994 Melanie furthered her career into teaching by undertaking her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Following this she worked as a college lecturer in the Wrexham area over the 10 years that followed. During this time, she became head of the Holistic Department with responsibilities including writing and delivering all beauty and holistic courses taught by the college.

After taking a break to have a family Melanie established her own training academy, offering fully accredited holistic training courses, giving students a small and friendly environment to learn. Alongside her teaching Melanie continues to maintain regular clientele allowing herself to remain at the forefront of the industry.

Melanie joins North Wales Nail and Beauty Training as a guest trainer enabling us to offer a full range of holistic courses within our training school.
